About Brian Hibler, MD, FAAD
Dr. Brian Hibler is a board certified cosmetic and medical dermatologist located in New York City. He completed his dermatology residency training at Cornell followed by a prestigious fellowship in lasers and cosmetic surgery at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, one of the leading laser and cosmetics centers in the world.
Dr. Hibler’s clinical interests include laser and light-based energy devices for treatment of acne and acne scarring, rosacea, birthmarks, scars, and other dermatologic conditions. He combines topical skincare regimens with cosmetic procedures to produce natural, long-lasting results. His research focuses on how skin rejuvenation treatments may slow down the aging process, and recently published a study showing that laser treatments may reduce future skin cancer risk.
He has received numerous national dermatology awards, including the Dr. Richard E. Fitzpatrick Clinical Research and Innovations Award from the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. As a researcher, he has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles in leading academic journals.
Dr. Hibler is frequently invited to teach at medical conferences both nationally and internationally. He is often featured in news outlets and the media, including: Forbes, CNN, US Magazine, Esquire, among many others. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
